Whether it’s your first or hundredth time in Rome, there’s always something new to discover. Unlike many other cities, Rome stands out for its history and culture around every corner. Join me on this top secret Hidden Gems tour and let’s explore the lesser-known but equally stunning spots of the Eternal City together!

The tour begins at Porta Flaminia, the grand gateway to Piazza del Popolo, a historic entry point to the city. From there, you’ll head into the peaceful surroundings of Villa Borghese, one of Rome’s largest and most beautiful parks. Popular amongst locals for its gardens, winding paths and elegant fountains. Villa Borghese also houses the 2nd most important museum of Rome: Galleria Borghese. This is home to masterpieces by Bernini, Caravaggio, and Raphael.

Our run continues towards Villa Torlonia, a former noble estate, featuring beautiful gardens and fascinating architectural designs, including Mussolini’s residence. From there, we´ll pass by the historic Porta Pia, an ancient gate designed by Michelangelo that played a significant role in Italy’s unification. Continuing along the same avenue, we will arrive to Piazza San Bernardo, where you’ll find the stunning Santa Maria della Vittoria Church, famous for Bernini’s masterpiece: the Ecstasy of Saint Teresa, a captivating Baroque sculpture (that’s considered one of the most beautiful in Rome).

Get ready to experience San Carlino alle Quattro Fontane, an absolute gem designed by the brilliant Borromini! This Baroque masterpiece, with its flowing curves and cozy, intimate interior, is one of Rome’s best-kept secrets. From there, we’ll continue our journey through the lively Piazza Barberini, where Bernini’s stunning Fontana del Tritone takes center stage. And just when you think it couldn’t get better, we’ll head uphill to the breathtaking Trinità dei Monti Church, perched at the top of the iconic Spanish Steps. You’re in for something truly special!

As we approach the final stretch of our run, we’ll pass the magnificent Villa Medici and arrive at the Terrazza del Pincio, where you’ll be treated to one of Rome’s most breathtaking panoramic views. From there, it’s a smooth return through the lively Piazza del Popolo and back to Porta Flaminia, our adventure began.

Led by passionate running experts, this private tour is tailored just for you, allowing you to set the pace and stop for plenty of photos. And along the way, you’ll find ancient Roman fountains offering refreshing, well-timed breaks to keep you going strong!
