VALENCIA – CITY AND SEA STRIDE – 21K

Come run with us on the “City & Sea Stride,” a 21-kilometer tour that shows you the very best of Valencia—its history, culture, nature, and stunning coastline—all in one amazing loop! We’ll start together at the beautiful Estació del Nord, an Art Nouveau gem covered in colorful tiles and symbols of Valencia’s rich heritage. From there, we’ll weave through lively plazas like Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Plaza de la Reina, where the city buzzes with life and charm. You’ll get a real feel for Valencia’s vibrant energy as we pass historic buildings, bustling cafés, and friendly locals going about their day.

As we keep moving, we’ll step into the heart of old Valencia at Plaza de la Virgen, surrounded by the Cathedral and Basilica, before reaching the impressive medieval Torres de Serranos. These ancient gates are full of stories, and if you’ve got time later, climbing up for the view is totally worth it! Next, we’ll relax a bit as we run through the Turia Gardens—a gorgeous, green space that used to be a river and is now the city’s favorite spot to walk, run, and just enjoy nature in the middle of town.

Then it’s time to head toward the sea along Avenida del Puerto, a wide and smooth stretch that used to be a busy cargo route—and even a Formula 1 track! We’ll arrive at the Marina, where sailboats bob in the water and the iconic Reloj Clock Tower watches over us. Running beside the sparkling Mediterranean, we’ll follow the seaside promenade past Playa de las Arenas and Malvarrosa Beach—perfect spots to soak in the sun, sea breeze, and maybe even take a quick break for a barefoot stroll.

On the way back, we’ll pass through buzzing neighborhoods, old port areas, and the stunning City of Arts & Sciences, a futuristic complex that looks like it’s straight out of a sci-fi movie. We’ll also visit Gulliver Park, where kids (and adults!) can climb on a giant playground sculpture, and finish our tour back in the colorful, artsy district of Ruzafa. This route is flat, friendly for all levels, and packed with amazing views and stories. So, lace up your shoes, bring your curiosity, and let’s discover Valencia together—one joyful stride at a time!

Pick-up service from your hotel/apartment or another meeting point is possible and will be checked by the tour provider individually. If your hotel/apartment should be too far away from the city centre or not close to the tour route, then we will meet you at our standard meeting point.
