Hey!
I’m Dan, your go-to New York City boots (or running shoes) on the ground! I’ve lived in and around the New York City area my entire life, soaking in all that this city has to offer. From Broadway shows and Mets baseball games, to Billy Joel concerts and farmers markets, there’s always something new to do, explore, eat and see! While I’m in Manhattan every day, I still take a step back to look up and appreciate just how spectacular this city is and how exciting just a single day can be!
Growing up, my primary sport was swimming, however, a great form of cross-training was always running, which I would use to explore as much terrain as I could. After finishing my collegiate swimming career, I decided it was time to focus my efforts on running. This allowed me to finally explore more of the city, join the incredible running community in Manhattan and the outer boroughs, and make memories with my best friends, meet elite runners, and hear the stories of so many inspirational people. The NYC runners that I’ve crossed paths with have inspired me to be better every day and to pass that NYC culture along to those that want to know what running here is all about; here in the city that never sleeps.
So, let’s lace up our shoes, hop on the tarmac, and get prepared to be astounded by some of the world’s most famous landmarks, to hear unbelievable stories, and smile/laugh with great companions!
