It is that time of year again. The time where Copenhagen comes to a standstill and all eyes are on the Michelin guide to announce which restaurants receive Michelin stars and, sometimes equally importantly, which ones do not. It’s time to announce the Michelin Star Restaurants in Copenhagen 2021.
A vast amount of the guest on our running tours are gastro tourists or foodies and come to Copenhagen in order to eat at many of our Michelin star restaurants…and of course go on a running tour. As we guide our guests on the City Running Tours past The Little Mermaid, The Royal Palace and other main tourist attractions in Copenhagen, the conversation often is about our many good restaurants. Team Go! Running Tours Copenhagen are big foodies, so we always welcome these conversations on our running tours and are keen to provide recommendations and insider tips to our thriving restaurant scene. We naturally discuss the main restaurants, but often there is a special pop-up restaurant or event on, that we can recommend so that our guests can get outstanding and unique gastro experiences that they would otherwise not be aware of and of course without rubbing shoulders with other tourists. It’s just them and the local Copenhageners – for better and for worse.

After a few years off the list it is great to have Noma back on the list of Michelin Restaurants in Copenhagen and once again Copenhagen and Denmark as a whole has outdone itself in terms of stars. Never before have we had so many Michelin star rated restaurants in Denmark and we are nothing less than over the moon about this.
