SAO PAULO CITY SOUL TOUR – 21K

Discover São Paulo through movement on this immersive 21 km running tour that starts and finishes in the beautiful green oasis of Parque Ibirapuera. From the park, you begin with a steady climb up Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio to the city’s highest plateau at Paulista Avenue. There you stop at the iconic MASP with its striking red pillars. You then descend into the Pacaembu Valley to visit the historic Pacaembu Stadium (Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu), a true temple of Brazilian football. Continuing through the city, you pass the world-class Sala São Paulo concert hall inside the restored Júlio Prestes station and the elegant Pinacoteca next to Luz Station.

The route then takes you into São Paulo’s oldest neighborhoods. You run past the majestic Theatro Municipal, stage of the 1922 Modern Art Week, cross the famous Tea Passover, and reach the São Bento Monastery, a 400-year-old Benedictine monastery. Nearby, you visit the Pátio do Colégio — the exact birthplace of the city in 1554 — the Impostômetro, and finally Sé Square with its impressive cathedral and the Point Zero, the official center of São Paulo. After exploring the historic heart of the city, you face the second climb up Brigadeiro Luís Antônio back to Paulista before descending toward the south zone and returning to Ibirapuera Park. This tour is more than just a run — it is a complete journey through time.
