Cancun is famous for its spectacular white sand beaches and its fascinating turquoise blue tones seawater. An Island located between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupte Lagoon.
From our meeting point, we will run for almost 2 km along Kukulkan Avenue on the bike path, friendly for runners.
Then head to the famous “Malecon Tajamar” the pier on the lagoon side that is a Natural reserve nowadays but has a long story behind that I will be happy to share with you; this is a great place for pictures, with a different view of the Hotel Zone.
The route will continue for 1 km in the city all the way to the main entrance of Puerto Cancun a gated area with a Mall, golf, and Marina that flows to the sea, a great lonely beach, a lighthouse, and mangroves. This is my favorite part of the route because has the jungle feeling, dirt paths as everything around here used to be, there are some areas where our shoes may get wet if the sea level rise.
All of this just to finish with a stunning view of the bay and the beach, these last views are simply remarkable.
