ZURICH – CITY, CANAL & CULTURE – 9K

Starting from Paradeplatz, we’ll explore the secret Schanzengraben canal, climb to Lindenhof hill where Roman Zurich began, pass through the tranquil Old Botanical Garden, and visit both iconic churches – Grossmünster and Fraumünster. The route includes the Opera House, an extended lakeside run to Zürichhorn with its Chinese Garden and sculpture park, before returning through the historic guild quarter.

I’ll share stories of everything from Roman customs stations to medieval women warriors, Protestant reformers to bizarre local traditions.

The tour ends where it began at Paradeplatz – right next to the legendary Confiserie Sprüngli, where those famous Luxemburgerli macarons make the perfect post-run treat.
