NYC WEST SIDE - 10K
Runner on the ground - EMILY
This is a nice, flat, and easy run by the water.
We will start the run by the New York Road Runners Center on the 57th. This tour will give you an insight into the days of everyday life for runners in New York City while stopping by many beautiful spots to take photos and run by the newest locations that make up New York’s iconic skyline, including The Vessel, Chelsea Piers, Little Island, and many others!
This tour runs through Hell’s Kitchen and takes you down all the way to Chelsea. We will pass by the Vessel (Hudson Yards) and the High Line while we enjoy the view of the water. While New York City is known as the city that never sleeps, we’re very lucky to have many little city parks, such as DeWitt Clinton Park, Hudson River Park, and Pier 84 at Hudson River Park. I appreciate the beauty of these little parks more and more every day because that’s where we refresh, recharge, and connect with each other. Central Park and Bryant Park are amazing, but I love being a runner in this city because it gave me an opportunity to discover the little parks and greens by the piers.
Once we get to the Little Island by Pier 55, you’ll get to see the artificial island park in the Hudson River west of Manhattan in New York City. This is the new public park also known as the unique urban oasis. Every visit to the Little Island is a reminder of the dynamic evolution of New York City. After a year of isolation during Covid-19, the park finally opened up for the public and this is where the people in New York come to embrace nature, art, and community. I never get tired of the view.
After this run, you’ll get to understand the everyday beauty of running in New York City. Remember the movie “Brittney runs a marathon?” This run is going to be just as real, and you’ll be running the city. I will also share where you can find the best NYC bagels.
I cannot wait to run with you. Join us for this green run and get pleasantly surprised to see the hidden beauty of the city.

Awesome run with Emily. Pick up at my hotel was perfectly on time. Emily was very friendly and even we run one kilometer extra because of my marathon training schedule. I loved the views during our run, for example Little Island and the Hudson River Park. She also made an awesome running picture of me at Times Square. At the end she gave me a few sightseeing and dining tips. Just another awesome go running tour for me.
