Guatemala City MaxTott Half Marathon
Date: 26 January 2025
Traditionally held in January, this running race is also known as “La Carrera de los Barrios”. It is one of Central America’s oldest and most celebrated races. Established in 1936, the event has grown into one of Guatemala’s popular running races.
The 21-kilometer course starts at Juan Chapín Street in Zone 1 and runs through key areas, including Vista Hermosa Boulevard and ending at the iconic Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores.
Quezaltenango Half Marthon

The Xela 21K half marathon in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, known as the “Challenge of the Heights” and “21 Kilometers to Reach the Moon,” brings together professional, international, and amateur runners at an altitude of 7,634 feet.
