La Corsa Dei Santi

The Corsa dei Santi is a running race that is held every year on All Saints’ Day. What was once a small event has now grown to its 16th edition. The race is meant to celebrate All Saints’ Day, highlight a humanitarian cause that is in need of support and promote sportsmanship that is inspired by the Salesian education tradition. The race route passes through the city center, making it one of the most beautiful running races in the world.
La Corsa Di Miguel
Date: 19 January 2025
The Race of Miguel started in January 9, 2000 in honor of Miguel Sanchez. An Argentine runner and poet kidnapped during the 1978 dictatorship. Journalist Pedro Piccioni started this and during its first year attracted 1,500 participants.
The Cosa Di Miguel works with schools in Rome to teach kids about sports, teamwork and fairness. It also shares the story of Miguel Sanchez in hopes of inspiring children to see sports not only as healthy competition but also as a way to connect with others and stand up for human rights. This is a running race that educates and inspires at the same time.
Rome15K
