SAN DIEGO DOWNTOWN AND BAY – 8K

This is the perfect quick run before work or a conference! Downtown has gorgeous water views, interesting highrises, and an incredible variety of food!

Our warm up starts along the Embarcadero and Seaport Village areas which feature beautiful water views. We’ll head west to the bay and then cruise north past the USS Midway Museum, toward the Maritime Museum and the Waterfront Park.

You’ll see several of the major neighborhoods in downtown San Diego and some underrated spots such as the Mona Lisa pixelated art display and a few plazas with great restaurants and food halls. We will run through Little Italy and the Gaslamp district which is modern but retains its vintage charm. Toward the end of the tour, we’ll pass Petco Park where the San Diego Padres play and the front of the Convention Center where the world famous ComicCon is hosted every summer.

Not many cities can feel energizing and laid back at the same time, but downtown San Diego easily manages this.

Many of these areas are finishing points for San Diego’s popular half marathons and 5ks, which can be discussed in detail if you are interested. Each of these interesting areas will give you some inspiration for further areas to explore later. This tour will feature more boats, small and large, commercial and private, old and new, than you can imagine. The breathtaking water views where you can see downtown from many angles will show you why San Diego is truly America’s Finest City.

You won’t want to miss this fun tour with an easy route with a single hill climb of about 100 feet. This is about a 3% incline, and is early on. We’ll take a quick photo break at the top and then it’s either flat or downhill from there.

We can do an optional cool down stretch together afterwards, while talking more about local areas of interest and must try restaurants.

PICK-UP SERVICE
Pick-up service from your hotel/apartment or another meeting point is possible and will be checked by the tour provider individually. If your hotel/apartment should be too far away from the city centre or not close to the tour route, then we will meet you at our standard meeting point.
